Healthcare Hires is a innovative job posting and search platform helping match qualified medical professionals with physicians urgently needing staff. With a nationwide healthcare staffing shortage, Healthcare Hires was built to cover all of Texas starting in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

How the problem started?

In 2022, members of the Collin-Fannin County Medical Society (CFCMS) had been going through critical staff shortages due to the exodus of staffing from the COVID pandemic. The team at Dallas Web Developers approached the president of CFCMS to collabrate on building a new healthcare tech startup focused on Application Tracking System (ATS). After receiving the greenlight, Healthcare Hires was born. 

In January of 2024, the first version of Healthcare Hires was complete. In exchange for beta testing, Healthcare Hires became a free members benefit of CFCMS helping increase new membership. As a 2025 goal, Healthcare Hires plans to fill hundreds of unfilled staffing positions of the current CFCMS members are experiencing and their private clinics/hospitals and expand throughout Texas.

Challenges

After building the first version, a few of the CFCMS members requested a video tutorial section. Because ATS softwares can have many features that are new to a physician and their hiring managers, video tutorials are helpful in speeding up answering any questions.

The importance of solving one of the healthcare industry staffing shortage crisis has been the the #1 goal ever since it’s inception in 2022. Frontline workers like physicians, nurses, medical assistants, physician assistants, technicians, receptionists, etc are the real super heroes of the world by actually being part of saving someone’s life. Because team at DWD was able to build an Application Tracking System (ATS) software from the ground up, hundreds of job seekers have already signed up and already received jobs from the physician employers.
